Our Story...
Since 1986, DSR has strived to provide the technology community with a unique option when it comes to purchasing and servicing computer equipment.  Unique in that we combine a large product line, a full range of accessories and upgrades, outstanding repair capabilities and a dedicated staff that knows what it takes to attract and retain a loyal customer.  These qualities have produced repeat customers and numerous referrals, which have enabled our company to grow significantly over the years.

Originally a family owned business, DSR recently became employee owned and operated.  What started as a company selling and repairing laptop computers when these machines first emerged in the marketplace has evolved into a full service technology firm. DSR has sales and service authorizations with most all the major computer manufacturers and a network services division, which specializes in network design and installation for the small to medium business market.  While the computer industry and its incredible technology has experienced substantial change over the years, DSR has kept pace and has consistently provided the solid expertise in this field that our customers seek.

DSR Facts...

• DSR, Inc is a Maryland corporation located in the Arundel Overlook business Park in Hanover, Maryland.  We have been in the computer business since 1986, initially working primarily with Toshiba notebook computers, which first came to market that year.   While we continue to be a strong Toshiba partner we have developed strong partner relationships with the other major computer manufacturers.
• DSR is an authorized reseller of servers, desktops and laptops for Toshiba, IBM, HP, Compaq, Acer, Dell, Gateway, and Sony.  We are also authorized service providers (warranty/non-warranty repairs) for the above listed computer manufacturers, in addition to Texas Instruments and Digital.
• DSR is one of the largest repair and warranty service centers for Toshiba in the USA. We have fixed over 55,000 Toshibas. We are a Premier-level facility for Toshiba; one of only 20 such facilities nationwide, and one of the original 12 selected by Toshiba.
• DSR is an employee owned firm staffed by knowledgeable sales professionals, fully certified computer technicians, and experienced network consultants.
• DSR stocks virtually all parts and accessories for most every Toshiba laptop model ever made.
• DSR is an authorized PDA reseller for Palm, Toshiba, Compaq and HP and is an authorized agent with Verizon Wireless for mobile IP Internet Access.
• DSR is a major supplier to educational institutions - both K-12 and university level. We are authorized to sell academic discount software from all the major manufacturers, which complement our academic hardware sales.
• DSR carries a wide variety of 220-volt computer equipment and accessories for our established overseas customers.  We also carry the most popular laptop accessories for the international traveler.  We have perfected our international shipment process to ensure fast and secure delivery of product to our international customers.
