Service: Returns and Warranty Policies

DSR, Inc will provide the following services to customers related to warranty and returns of goods purchased from DSR.

Purchases of computers & related accessories
(excluding accessories and parts sold separately).

DSR will refund full money back if the customer desires for a period of three (3) days only from the date of the shipment of purchase, provided all items are returned in complete and re-salable condition. No refund will be given of the cost of shipping to or from the customer. If the item is not 100% re-salable quality as determined by DSR (shrink wrapping opened, data written onto hard drives, etc), then a re-stocking fee will be charged (amount to be determined by DSR).

DSR will help our customers to replace, or repair (at DSR's discretion) all defective items that it has sold for the duration of the warranty period allowed by the manufacturer. All Toshiba computers and accessories will be repaired at DSR (as an agent of Toshiba), on a Priority basis. For customers of all other equipment, DSR will provide the name and address of warranty service providers for the customers to contact them. If DSR is able, and at its sole discretion, it will exchange defective items. In all cases, warranties are from the equipment manufacturers, not DSR itself.

DSR will respond to all faxes or emails of hardware problems related to equipment purchased from DSR from any customer within one business day. If an answer is not received in that period, please re-send the fax/email, as we did not receive it properly.

In all cases, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs for items sent for warranty or other service.


Software purchases

DSR will provide full money back if the customer desires for a period of three (3) days only from the date of purchase, provided all manuals and disks are returned in complete and re-salable condition. That is, NO shrink wrapping is opened and the product is undamaged. No refund will be given of the cost of shipping to or from the customer, unless the item shipped was clearly not the item requested. If the item is not in perfectly re-salable condition, then a 15-25% re-stocking fee will be charged, or in some cases no refund will be allowed. In all cases, warranties are from the manufacturers, not DSR itself.


Parts purchases

All computer and related equipment parts are NOT returnable under any circumstances, and no money will be refunded.  If a part is supplied that is dead on arrival or stops functioning within 30 days of the date of shipping the part from DSR (except hard drives are 90 days), then DSR will replace it with an equivalent functioning part.  In all cases, warranties are from the hardware manufacturers, not DSR itself.


Labor charges & Sales tax

LABOR CHARGES: DSR cannot refund the cost of labor or diagnostics charges.

SALES TAXES: DSR will refund sales taxes paid, as allowed by law.


Notes

DSR may, at its sole discretion, make changes to these rules and procedures or make special allowances.  Any special allowance granted does not in any way imply or guarantee that future allowances will be granted.
